Royal Heritage Meets the English Countryside

Escape the busy streets of London and discover two very different sides of England on our Windsor & Cotswolds Day Trip. From the grandeur of one of Britain’s most famous royal residences to the charming villages and rolling landscapes of the Cotswolds, this trip combines royal history, traditional English architecture and beautiful countryside in one memorable day.

Whether you are an international student discovering England for the first time, a university student looking for a weekend escape, or simply someone who wants to experience the English countryside, this tour offers an opportunity to see some of the country’s most recognisable landscapes and historic locations.

👑 Windsor

Your journey begins in Windsor, a historic town on the River Thames and one of England’s most famous royal destinations.

The town is dominated by Windsor Castle, one of the world’s oldest and largest occupied castles. With a history spanning almost 1,000 years, Windsor Castle has been an important royal residence for generations.

During your free time in Windsor, you can explore the historic town centre, walk along the River Thames, browse independent shops and cafés, and admire the castle from outside.

If you choose to enter the castle, you can discover its magnificent State Apartments, historic rooms and St George’s Chapel, subject to opening arrangements and ticket availability.

🏘️ Discover the Cotswolds

After exploring Windsor, continue into the beautiful Cotswolds, an area famous for its rolling countryside, honey-coloured limestone villages and traditional English character.

The Cotswolds covers a large area of the English countryside and is known for villages that look remarkably similar to the traditional picture of an English village.

Depending on the itinerary and operating conditions, you may visit popular locations such as:

Bourton-on-the-Water
Bibury
Stow-on-the-Wold
Burford
Castle Combe

Enjoy time to wander through picturesque streets, discover local shops and cafés, photograph traditional cottages and experience the peaceful atmosphere of rural England.
