Student Travel Desk (STD) is a UK-based tour company dedicated to making travel affordable, accessible, and memorable for students, recent graduates, and young professionals. We believe that exploring new places should not be a luxury. Everyone deserves the opportunity to experience historic landmarks, breathtaking landscapes, vibrant cities, and unforgettable adventures without paying premium prices. Our mission is simple: to create high-quality, affordable day trips and short breaks that allow people to discover the best of the United Kingdom while meeting like-minded travellers along the way. Whether you're studying abroad, attending university in the UK, or simply looking for a cost-effective weekend escape, Student Travel Desk provides carefully planned experiences that combine sightseeing, culture, history, and social connection.
Student Travel Desk was founded with a clear vision—to remove the barriers that often prevent students from travelling. University life can be demanding, and many students face financial constraints that limit their ability to explore beyond their campus or city. At the same time, travel is one of the most valuable learning experiences, offering opportunities to discover new cultures, build confidence, create lifelong memories, and develop friendships with people from around the world. Recognising this gap, Student Travel Desk was established to provide professionally organised tours that are affordable, safe, and convenient. Our goal is to make discovering the UK's most iconic destinations easier for everyone, regardless of budget.
We specialise in professionally organised coach tours departing from London to some of the UK's most popular destinations. Our itineraries are designed to maximise your experience while giving you the flexibility to explore independently. Our tours include destinations such as: Historic cities rich in heritage and culture UNESCO World Heritage Sites National parks and scenic countryside Coastal towns and beaches Famous castles and royal landmarks Charming villages and hidden gems Seasonal events and special experiences Every itinerary is carefully planned to balance sightseeing, free time, comfort, and convenience, allowing travellers to experience more in a single day.
